A Time to Gather Stones
If ever there has been a time to gather your stones together, this past year has surely been that time. Frugality notwithstanding, we are happy to see that during these difficult economic times, so many of you have managed to preserve your important time away together, and found ways to visit the Inn and our beautiful coast of Maine.

Our job, as we have seen it this last year, has been to provide attractive, yet economical ways for you to get away for a weekend or longer, and preserve the quality of life we all have been accustomed to over the last decade. We have done this with much success and great response from many of our past guests, and here is how we’ve done it.

The Specials Section of our website has been our number one tool for telling you about discount rates, special packages, and events. Our Innkeeper’s Packages, Wine Tasting Series, Beer Tasting Dinners, and all other event pricing have remained the same as last year, if not lower. We’ve even brought back our once popular “Lobsters & Lighthouses” Package. Additionally, we’re sending you frequent E-Mail Blasts (click here if you would like to join our list) to alert you to sales and room upgrade specials or last minute discounts, along with reminders about our numerous entertainment event weekends.

The YHI Economic Aid Program also includes value promotions in our dining areas designed to stretch your dollar while providing a high quality dining experience. On Monday nights kids eat for free upstairs in our 1637 Dining and Tap Room (see details on our web site). Tuesdays are our Maine Fish Fry Night ($9.95 per person), Wednesdays are Prime Rib Night ($15.95 per person), Thursdays are Complete Dinner Specials Night ($16.95 per person), and every night of the week we’re offering Early Bird Dinner Specials- a three course dinner for those seated before 6PM for just $16.95 per person! Combine any of these great dinner values with one of our specially discounted room rates or packages, and you’ve found a way to break away without having to break the bank.

Finally, our Concierge - Paul Gagnon, has been negotiating special discounts from our local business owners just for guests of the YHI. All guests receive our new VIP Concierge Club card at check-in along with Kittery Outlet Mall Savings Coupons valued at up to $500 and our own 15% Discount Card for all purchases in our Gift Shop. Plus the next time you call, mention “YHI Newsletter” and receive 10% off your next stay! So as you can see, it is still possible to get away during these challenging times. We are committed to continuing great value opportunities for you, so you can preserve your time away together and visit the Inn and our great Seacoast Area! We hope to see you return soon.
