"We had our wedding ceremony in the Reserve across the street from the Inn, our reception in the ballroom at the York Harbor Inn and stayed in one of the luxury rooms and we can not say enough good things about our experience. "When we set out to have a wedding ceremony by the ocean we never dreamed of how perfect the York Harbor would be, not only for location, but for extremely good service, professionalism, knowledge and excellent food presentation and ambiance in their dining room.

The accommodations were also excellent, affordable and very clean! They also helped us to pick the right vendors for flowers and suggested an excellent restaurant close-by for our rehearsal dinner the evening before.

All the details were covered and everyone was as enthusiastic as we were to get everything "perfect".

We would recommend Michelle over and over again as the only one I would ask to help me plan any event so important to us! Michelle was even able to have the "Good Luck" raindrops hold off until after our ceremony outside. Way to Go Michelle!

What a wonderful night. York Harbor Inn, the group at the Inn did a miraculous job at handling a group of over 160 people with a single buffet line and bar. They worked very well, we all worked well together to provide a comfortable atmosphere. Guests began arriving at 4:15. Dinner, wedding traditions and more were done by 7:30. Fireworks across the harbor just after 9pm. Magical night.

"The York Harbor Inn is a beautiful location for an oceanside Maine Wedding. The view from the park is amazing, we can still remember hearing the ocean waves crashing while saying our vows. The Inn is very quaint and the ballroom has a skylight which allowed for natural lighting which was great for photography.

Paul Gagnon was fabulous! Even though we live in New York, we were able to plan and communicate easily by phone and e-mail with Paul and his team. When problems arose, Paul was very prompt and professional in quickly resolving any issues. They were also very helpful in suggesting ideas and planning for our big day. On the actual wedding day, we didn't have to worry about the details and actually enjoyed our wedding! Months later we are still receiving accolades on our wedding from guests. We highly recommend the Inn and their staff."

"When we look back on the process of planning our wedding and our wedding day, we really feel lucky. Paul Gagnon and the rest of the YHI staff were always accommodating and to this day, greet us with a friendly smile when we visit, which is often. YHI has really gone above and beyond with how they’ve treated our family and us during the year prior to our wedding. We visited the Inn frequently over the year of our engagement because we loved the surf and turf menu, the old New England surroundings, and of course we were excited for the big day. The staff was always there for us and we know without them the day would not have been the same. The wedding package was budget friendly for us and we were also given recommendations for vendors such as a florist and cake preparations. This really helped along our planning process and since the vendors were experienced with weddings at the Inn, we felt more confident that our big day would be seamless. Every picture we have from our wedding exudes picturesque summer beauty and the distinctive Maine seacoast. Whenever we said where our wedding was, the same response ensued: “That is such a beautiful location” or “It’s such a nice place”. It’s obvious the Inn has a reputation for charm and beauty and we were so fortunate to share what we already knew with our closest family and friends. I will always say happily that I had the wedding of my dreams there, and of course my husband is happy that his bride got what she wanted, a perfect wedding day."
